WOW! Equity and Access was a HIT in Mississippi at MCTM! Wonderful Experience as a Speaker!
Wow! 😄🥰🤩🥳 At MCTM in Mississippi, we discussed Equity and Access. One teacher reporter driving 2hrs each day for 8 YEARS so his child could have the hope of taking Calculus their senior year because their zoned school didn't offer it. That child now has their masters and Ph.D😃!
We also discussed Hattie's teaching practices and how they help assist in equitable math practices! We concluded that we are Better together and we can make a difference in our circles one student at a time🥰!
So thankful for the amazing teachers and leaders in Mississippi and for Big Ideas Learning for this wonderful opportunity!
