What an incredible experience it was to speak at the NCSM: Leadership in Mathematics Education Virtual Conference! 🎉 

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to join such an inspiring lineup of speakers and leaders committed to making BOLD moves in education. Together, we explored the power of grit and how it can help bridge the achievement gap in mathematics. 📚✨ 

The session was a reminder of why we do this work. It’s about empowering every learner to thrive and ensuring that all students, no matter their background, have access to the tools they need to succeed. I’m energized by the conversations we had around growth mindset, resilience, self-efficacy, and time management. These pillars are not just buzzwords—they are essential to helping students overcome obstacles and persist in their learning journey. 

I’m also deeply inspired by the passion and commitment of all the educators I had the privilege of connecting with during this conference. It’s clear that we are all dedicated to taking bold steps to transform math education, and I am beyond excited to continue this work alongside such amazing individuals. 🤝💪
